To grammar pedants: I am extremely well-versed in correct grammatical rules; but "epic fail", while being technically grammatically incorrect as a phrase, is an example of how the internet has evolved language and made the word "fail" usable as a noun. There's absolutely nothing wrong with language evolution; it's been happening ever since it came about. "Epic fail" is a contextual phrase to be used in jest - and if you're here to complain about its incorrectness, I'm afraid you just don't get the joke! c:
