You fail. FAIL I SAY.

To grammar pedants: I am extremely well-versed in correct grammatical rules; but "epic fail", while being technically grammatically incorrect as a phrase, is just a light-hearted example of how the internet has evolved the English language in its own way. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, as long as users do understand how to use correct English in settings where it matters. "Epic fail" is a contextual phrase to be used in jest - and if you're here to complain about its incorrectness, I'm afraid you just need to lighten up a bit! c:
:whisper: Psst.. remember to check out the rest of my stamp collection; there are guaranteed to be more you like! ♥

The internet has evolved language? I'd say they've devolved it if anything else. Not to mention when you overuse the word "epic" to describe minor things, you cheapen and water it down from it's true meaning.

But hey, if you still want to continue being a mindless sheep like everyone else on the internet these days, then be my guest.

Being able to recognise when things are meant in jest is a gift apparently not bestowed upon you :')

If people don't understand that the use of "fail" as a noun isn't actually correct English, sux2bthem. I personally have an excellent grasp on grammar; just because I recognise the very flexible "internet rules" of English, and embrace it in a light-hearted manner, doesn't mean I don't know how to use it properly. Perhaps your assumptuous judgement is true of many, but not me :dummy:
Americans have butchered the word "awesome" so that its meaning carries none of its original weight, too; a pre-internet development. You can't blame everything that bugs you on "mindless internet sheep".
