Extraterrestrial Life Stamp by Kezzi-Rose Extraterrestrial Life Stamp by Kezzi-Rose
For those who know we can't be the only lifeforms in the universe! :alien:

The number of potentially habitable planets in our galaxy alone is 600 million - and with over 170 billion galaxies in the observable universe, it's virtually impossible that Earth is the only planet with the right conditions for life to develop and thrive. It's very exciting to think that extraterrestrial life may be discovered in our lifetimes! We may find only simple organisms, or multicellular evolved forms - but whatever we're able to discover, it's definitely all out there somewhere.

P.S. I study Planetary Geology and Extremophiles as part of my degree, which includes what makes a planet habitable and how early life could have formed - so if you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I'll do my best to answer them! c:

I'm definetly using this. It's ignorant to think we are the only "intelligent" life out there when you consider how big the universe is.

i love all your stamps like omfg
and yes, I do believe in aliens!
i dont believe in odd looking things with three arms, one eye, etc
i dont believe in odd looking green skinned things
the believe aliens have gray skin, a big head and big eyes, and a small, short body.
i also believe some aliens can look like humans.
is that weird?
but yeah, i do believe in aliens.
i believe they helped most people in the past to build/make things before we had such advanced technology

And on a second note, if evolution is bendable and lawless as it is described to be, isn't every solid planet a potentially habitable one? Even planets with physical properties like Jupiter or Saturn could support life in some fashion or another. Evolution, as I understand it anyway, is based entirely on the resources and environmental conditions acting on an organism. So just as we breathe a mix of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and oxygen, drink water and walk firmly on soil; another species could breathe neon, drink mercury and fly on electromagnetic currents. All of evolution is chaos based on a landslide of variables which means every planet's is habitable to life in the same way Earth is.

Biological evolution has nothing to do with whether or not life appears on a planet, or what the species breaths, or what a species drinks. Biological evolution has to do with the process in which that life changes semi-randomly over the course of millions of generations, not if molecules can combine on a planet to form what we would consider 'life'.

Statistically speaking it's incomprehensibly unlikely that Earth is the only planet to have developed life. But keep in mind that is still possible. I for one beleive life has developed on other worlds, and that it will develop in the future. For all we know, right now, lightyears away, two vast civilizations are waging war with one another, and perhaps one of these aliens, young, only a child, is looking up into the sky at night, thinking to themself "Wait.. what if there were life on other planets.."
I honestly don't know if life exists on other worlds, but what I do know is this;
the universe is vast, and cold, and beautiful, and that's all that matters to me.

My mum claims to have seen a UFO once, in day light too! I thought that was pretty cool, but pretty scary too, it's a good thing who ever was flying that machine wasn't out for human blood.

You understand UFO just means an unidentified flying object? You think it's scary to see something in the sky you can't identify?

The universe is endless, I mean it takes billions of light years just to get out of our galaxy the Milky Way, just imagine what other planets/galaxies hold! Like I mean...there could a clone of us in a mirror universe.

There has to be. I'm pretty sure the universe wasn't just made for humans considering how massive it is. Other creatures/lifeforms on other planets must exist.

Though Earth isn't made just for humans, it's made for animals too. Never leave out animals. They have just as much right to be here as we do, probably actually more so.
