The sound of boots and low chatter
Fill the space like a fluid.

We're in there, among them.
Brushing shoulders with dark strangers
Tasting the late summer night

The dark pulses with an electric surge
And suddenly there is blinding colour
Washing us over, and over
Igniting a thrill inside.

I take your hand and we rush forward
The crowd tightens, we seize the gaps
Weave 'round curved spines and locked lips

I never thought I could, either.
Honestly, I had to practice a LOT before I produced anything worth submitting!
Half the time my sprite ideas go really wrong; I've been trying to work on an ice cream for ages and it just won't go right. ;~;}
