The lovely sunshiney main street in Latour-de-France, my home for six weeks of summer! ♥

It's a beautiful, traditional little village in the south of France, near to so many wonderful sights. There's a great evening to be had at the newly-opened outdoor tapas bar with live music, great wine and delicious food, and the campsite we stayed at was just brilliant in terms of facilities and location. If you're ever in the area, be sure to pay a visit! c:

I really hope you get to go sometime! The countryside is just wonderful. I camped in this pretty, remote village for six weeks this summer as part of my university dissertation work ♥

Oh, I see. I'm taking French class in school and we've learned about Paris, but not much else. It's nice to see other aspects of France beside the capitol and language, haha. ^^

It sure is! There is so much variation over the whole country. When you fly over it, it's amazing how green it is! There are beautiful mountain ranges, Mediterranean-style houses to the south with turquoise-blue pools and red-tiled roofs dotting the landscape.. so lovely ♥

... i was thinking "it looks very familiar to me"... and actually it is because i live in the south of France too and this street is very typical of the area ^^
