Hello again, my sexy ponies! ♥

So I saw Rick Astley last night, in all his marvellistic 80s glory!

My boyf, best friend & I had many larks betting on the horse races beforehand since the concert was held at our local racecourse - I ended up winning back all of the money I had bet hahaha :'D

Once it hit 9 pm we grabbed ourselves a place right at the front of the stage barrier: I was wearing a huge western moustache (which is now being worn by the naked statue in town) and there was a big bald security man in front of us. We were treated to three legendary 80s acts: Heaven 17, ABC and Rick Astley himself! They were all brill and it was just so funny to be there :')

Mr. Astley was hilarious with his northern accent and sexy leg-rubbing - he even did a tribute to his drummer friend who died recently by singing & playing Somebody Told Me by the Killers on the drums! He promised he'd buy us all fish & chips if it was terrible (which unfortunately it wasn't).
The last song he performed was, of course, Never Gonna Give You Up - he let all of us sing it first before launching into it himself, and he did the spin-like-you-are-wrapped-in-toilet-paper dance! Ohgod it made my life.

After the show a random bloke approached and asked if Rick knew me personally - apparently he looked as though he did, because he kept staring at me. As I pointed out this may have been because of my massive moustache.
